our story

A pioneer in the ceramic design and maker movements, Klein Reid studio was found by James Klein and David Reid in Williamsburg Brooklyn, in 1993. The influential workshop is renowned for its elegant forms, translucent porcelain, artisanal glazes, design integrity and keen craftsmanship. All work, from one-of-a-kind to production collections, is hand produced in their studio from proprietary porcelain and glaze recipes.
